On Saturday, Aug 14, we will be leaving the parking lot of Jerry Sugarman's office early in the AM to go to the Palm Springs Tramway. Our goal is to arrive at the Tramway at 7:30 AM and take the 8:00 AM gondola to San Jancinto SP. From there it is a 6 hr round trip hike to the top of San Jacinto (10,800'). The Tram costs about $23 per adult (if a group of 10 or more...$21). The hike is rated moderate (Baden Powell was one level more strenous than SJ) and is world class beautiful.
